A/C Regas Warranty Statement

A/C Regas Warranty & Liability Statement
This service includes a full system evacuation, vacuum hold test, and recharge using the correct refrigerant, oil, and UV dye (where applicable). All work is carried out in accordance with recognised industry practices and F‑Gas handling requirements.
1. Workmanship Warranty (14 Days) We provide a 14‑day workmanship warranty, covering faults directly caused by the regas procedure itself. This includes: • Incorrect charging of refrigerant • Loose service‑port fittings • Errors in the regas process
This warranty applies only to workmanship and does not extend to system condition, components, or refrigerant retention.
2. Refrigerant Loss & System Condition Exclusion No warranty is offered on refrigerant loss, cooling performance, or system operation after the vehicle leaves our care.
A/C systems can lose gas due to: • Age‑related deterioration • Worn seals and O‑rings • Corrosion of pipes, condensers, or joints • Stone damage or impact • Compressor wear or internal failure • Leaks too small to detect during vacuum testing
These issues are outside our control and are not covered under any warranty.
3. Leak Testing Limitations Vacuum testing can identify many leaks, but micro‑leaks may only become apparent once the system is pressurised with refrigerant.
A “passed” vacuum test confirms the system held vacuum at the time of service — it does not guarantee the system is leak‑free.
4. Free Re‑Test Within 14 Days If cooling performance drops within 14 days, we offer a free diagnostic re‑test to check for leaks or component faults.
This re‑test does not include: • Free refrigerant • Free repairs • Free parts
Any further work is chargeable.
5. Exclusions & Limitations of Liability This warranty does not cover: • Refrigerant loss for any reason • Leaks, regardless of cause • Component failure (compressor, condenser, evaporator, pipes, valves, sensors, etc.) • Electrical faults affecting A/C operation • Damage caused by previous repairs or modifications • Damage caused by customer misuse or continued operation with known faults
We are not liable for consequential loss, indirect loss, or costs arising from A/C failure, including but not limited to: • Travel costs • Vehicle downtime • Loss of earnings • Further repair costs
6. Customer Responsibility The customer is responsible for authorising further diagnostic work or repairs if faults are identified.
By proceeding with the regas service, the customer accepts the terms of this warranty and acknowledges the limitations of A/C system testing and refrigerant retention.
